Alone

This month’s edition of Scientific American presents an article about what might lie beyond our Universe. One of the theories considers that our Universe is just one among many that appear (and disappear), which fortunately got it just right (the Multiverse).
Now trying to imagine our solar system among billions of others on the Milky Way, our galaxy lost between hundreds of billions of other galaxies, an ever expanding Universe and, on top of that, to speculate many more universes might lie around, one get’s a chilling sensation:
if God micro-manages our lives and even gave the trouble to put his representative on Earth, we must be so damn alone out there.
